Post subject:  mxfsplit: How to extract AES3 Channels ??

Hi All,

first i want to say that i'm very happy to be here. It's a great Tool, but i have one problem (for this time :) ) i need help for.

I have an op1a MXF with Embedded SDI Video and 4-channel SDI AES3 Audio (in 1 stream).

I know that there is MPEG-2 ES and in audio english and german in one 4-channel audiostream.

If I demux the mxf with: "mxfsplit -w Testfile.mxf" i just got 2 Streams.
One video and one 4-channel wave-audio.

I need to extract the AES3 channels to get separate english and german audiostreams.

Is anybody here who can provide me with my problem ??

Kind regards
René

P.S.: mxflib is compiled with linux debian x686 gcc.

The easiest way to do this would be to use a sound editing program to separate the sound tracks.

Some simpler ones can't handle >2 tracks in a wave file, or 24-bit audio, but the better ones should be fine.
