Post subject:  CVS checkout of mxflib
Hi,

I'm trying to checkout (read-only) the latest and greatest from mxflib, but I'm having a few issues:

Code:
checkout -A -P mxflib
cvs checkout: warning: cannot write to history file /cvsroot/mxflib/CVSROOT/history: Permission denied
cvs checkout: failed to create lock directory for `/cvsroot/mxflib/mxflib' (/cvsroot/mxflib/mxflib/#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs checkout: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/cvsroot/mxflib/mxflib'
cvs [checkout aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
 
Command Aborted.


I'm not well versed in CVS, so any gentle help would be much appreciated. I'm using a SmartCVS GUI front-end client.

Hmm, looks like you don't have write access to those directories.
