Hi,
i have got just one simple question, because i am not sure about this. Is the Header Metadata (Preface, Content Storage etc.) stored in the Header Partition or is the Header Partition an extra element?

Yes, the header metadata is stored in the header partition.

If the header is "closed" then this will be the full and up-to-date metadata.

If the header is "open" then a closed copy of the metadata will be found in the footer partition.
