Hi,

we have the problem that all files made by the eVTR have the aspect ratio 4/3, although they should be 16/9.

Is there an (easy) way to override the aspect ratio in the mxf?

Or does anyone know, if it is just a misconfiguration of the eVTR?

I would hope that there is a configuration option in the eVTR that will fix.

You could write an application that would modify the aspect ratio property to fix this. To do it properly you would need to add a new Identification set with details of the program that did the fix and tis may make the header metadata too large to fit in the header - if so you would need to either flag the header as open and write the modification into a closed footer, or copy the file as you re-write it so that you can make space for the larger header.
