I am trying to use mxflib to read files created by Avid Media Composer. I am able to read essence in the UYVY format which is handled by mxfsplit as Generic Container. But when I try to read (what I think is in) RGB format, which has the descriptors:

EssenceContainer = [060e2b34.0401.0101.0e040301.02070109]
PictureEssenceCoding = [060e2b34.0401.0101.0e040301.01030100]

I have no success. The GCElement Kind registers as Invalid. I tried to register a key as Generic Container supported but that didn't work; should the solution be as simple as doing this correctly?. Am I on the wrong path entirely? Should I even be attempting to use mxflib for reading (rather than writing) these files?
